Reading 25/5/21 T2 W4

Hello fellow readers, 

How are you this week we have been working on for these 2 past week's types of storm what to do and where to go. My first create task was about my complimentary, challenging text and the story that i'm reading. characters : Ana, Mika, Niko, Sina. 


setting : home, Samoa, Tonga. 


Problem: a small earthquake hit and she did not want a bun.


Solution Niko saw her head stick out as well as the bun and Niko pick her up by her head to get out of the tsunami.   


The 2 create task was about what to do when something happens, the third create task is about making a newshub letter.

Reading ( cyclone tokotoru )

 hello readers this week we have been reading about natural disasters. my book was about a cyclone headed there way and turns out it was just a big mess. the setting is Home and outside in the countryside. The characters were Dad, Maioha, Toihau, Hikitia, Kuia. the problem was The problem is there’s a cyclone headed there way. The solution was They ended up not having the cyclone but instead they made their own cyclone. There were a whole lot of other book choices like Astrolabe reef, paekakariki flood, swallowed by the sea, the hungry wave, Christchurch earthquake and then there was my choice cyclone Tokotoru. Why i choose cyclone Tokotoru was because i did not know what a cyclone was and then as i was watching the challenge text and then learnt that it is basically a tornado. Here is all of my hard work.

For a cyclone you need to have a meeting spot, civil defence, food kit, call emergency departments.

hello readers this week my maths group had to work with numicons i found it really easy. The hard part was trying to make a robot with 27 numicons. What have you been doing for maths this week?  Here is my work.

Reading Taniwha

 Hey guys! Welcome back to my cool and amazing blog. This week i choose a book about a boy Noah that found a Taniwha in the school pipes. There were heaps more books such as wild things, cancel the invasion, the longest story, the weird zone and the choice. The characters are Mr Blackadder, Mrs pinkney, Noah, classmates and baby Taniwha ( could be ). The setting is in the school (boiler room and Classroom ). The problem is That Noah heard a taniwha in the coils! The solution is Mr Blackadder went into the boiler room and caught it! Create task 1 was to write down what the complementry text and the challange text Create task 2 was to create my own ending Create task 3 was ask the main character 5 questions. Hope you enjoyed my work, here it is!

By the way i had time to do both of the fast finishers tasks!!!

Reading Aliens T2W1

 WALT: elevate ideas and information in a narrative text. 


Hey readers this week in Ruru we have been working on fiction/narrative  books in reading and writing. In reading I choose a book called cancel the invitation school journal 2016. It's about how a an Alien tries to learn humans and their body language. Why i choose this book is because i have really never been that interested in Aliens so i thought why not give it a go. Turns out i really enjoyed it. what I had to do is first write down a summary of our challange and complementary text and also the story. Then we had to rewrite the last paragraph, and then pretend your a police officer and write down questions for your character and write down what they might answer back. Cool so have a look at my work.
